A registered trademark agent in Ireland and a European trademark and design attorney, Gerard's primary focus is on assisting clients in intellectual property disputes and advising clients on passing off, trademark, copyright, design right and patent litigation.

He has previously represented, among others, UPC, Teva Pharmaceuticals and Calor in the Irish Commercial Court.

Gerard is also a lecturer, tutor and examiner on the Law Society of Ireland’s professional training courses for solicitors in the areas of copyright, designs and patent.
