ABA: The Criminal Justice 8th Annual London White Collar Crime Institute

19 September 2019

Muireann Dennehy, Partner on our Investigations & White Collar Crime team, will moderate a panel at the upcoming American Bar Association 8th Annual London White Collar Crime Institute on 14 and 15 October.

The panel will consider allegations of bribery and corruption arising from a hypothetical $100 million World Bank led procurement process, focusing on multi-jurisdictional enforcement actions. Drawing from their vast trial experience, the panellist will discuss the obstacles inherent in cross-border evidence collection, divergent regulatory standards and the issues raised by technological innovations, particularly in the sphere of nontraditional currencies. With audience participation, the problems posed by increased global interconnectivity and the responses of national regulators will be the subject of some lively and insightful debate.
