Mason Hayes & Curran is pleased to announce a series of workshops covering the main legal issues that an entrepreneur is likely to face when raising finance.
The first workshop took place on Monday, 10 June from 5.30pm to 8.00pm and focused on how to make your company “investment ready” in order to minimise the time from finding an investor to completing the investment and on the key terms in an term sheet. This session also looked at the key issues which arise at this stage of the investment process and how these can affect the ownership and management of the company.
The workshop was led by Martin Kelleher, a corporate partner with significant experience in advising on mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and private equity transactions, reorganisations and fundraisings.
Martin provided practical guidance on the legal steps involved in raising finance and how to deal with the issues which commonly arise.
