Our next dedicated In-House Masterclass will focus on the increasingly topical area of Strategic Alliances and Joint Ventures.
Changes in the economic environment have caused companies to reject the “buy or build” approach to developing new technologies or entering into new markets, in favour of partnerships such as strategic alliances or joint ventures. Working together, companies can achieve greater efficiencies with far less expenditure.
The Masterclass will be held in November and will explore some of the key considerations in structuring and operating a strategic alliance or joint venture as well as the important competition law considerations.
Donall King, Head of Legal Affairs at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, will also share his experiences of managing commercial and academic alliances for the RCSI in Ireland and abroad.
