We are delighted to host our Economics of Energy Conference taking place on Wednesday 11 September in The Shelbourne Hotel, Dublin 2. The conference focuses on the future of Ireland's energy sources from a public policy, industry and community perspective.

Panels of key industry players will look at the new models that will be required as we transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy. Speakers will explore topics such as community ownership, financing & routes to market including socially responsible investing as well as broader industry issues. Featured panels are:

  • Energy and Community – the role that community ownership structures will play in Ireland’s energy transition and how these models have worked in other jurisdictions

  • Sustainable Investment - the environmental, social and governance aspects of investments in the energy transition and how these policies are implemented in practice through investment decision-making and managing sustainable infrastructure assets

  • Investing in Energy Transition - investment opportunities in the Irish market in relation to on-shore and off-shore wind, solar, gas and energy storage

The conference will be chaired by Tom Lyons, journalist and CEO of new business media venture, The Currency.
