We hosted our annual Contemporary Art at Christmas exhibition on Wednesday 30 November 2016 in our offices on Barrow Street.

Renowned actress Cathy Belton opened the exhibition and Natasha McKenna, Partner, Mason Hayes & Curran, gave an overview of the exhibition. Photos from the event and featured artist details are available to view.

Featured artists include

Rubio Alvarez
Rubio is the owner of Hang Tough Framing, a contemporary bespoke framing service in Dublin. He presents a series of documentary images from South Africa, Spain, Dublin and Amsterdam.

David Brennan

David is a self-taught paper craft artist based in Dublin. His pieces are abstract in nature and he takes inspiration from a variety of sources. He has just started out on a career in art and hopes to one day have his pieces displayed in galleries around Ireland.

Chris Judge

Chris Judge is an award-winning illustrator, artist and children's picture book author based in Dublin. His work is a mixture of illustration, painting and design, and has appeared in books, advertising, newspapers, magazines, exhibitions and interiors.

Peter Killeen
Peter is a sculptor working in bronze who has honed his craft following experience in bronze foundries both in Dublin and Sydney. His works are included in both public and private collections in Ireland and around the world.

Colin Martin

Colin graduated in Fine Art Painting in 1994 and completed a post graduate in printmaking in 2005. He studied Masters in Fine Art in NCAD in 2010. Colin is principal of the RHA School Board, and a part-time lecturer at the National College of Art and Design.

Kevin McSherry
Kevin is a founding member and former Chairman of the Illustrators Guild of Ireland. He has exhibited in the Louvre, the Chester Beatty Library and his work is in the British National Collection.

Louise Newman
Louise studied fine art at the Institute of Art, Design and Technology, Dun Laoghaire. She has exhibited nationwide and her work is in many public and private collections including the Office of Public Works, The Bank of Ireland, The Blackrock Clinic and The Flynn Hotel Group.

Jane Rainey
In 2016, Jane completed a full scholarship to study a Masters in fine art painting at the National College of Art and Design, Dublin. Her most recent exhibitions includingTulca, Headless Cities and the RDS, Visual Art Awards exhibition.

Sven Sandberg
Sven recently graduated from the MFA program at the National College of Art and Design. He draws extensively on the history of painting, cinema, decorative arts such as rugs and textiles, and personal experiences, recombining these fragments in oil on canvas paintings.

David Uda (Duda)
David Uda (Duda) is one of Ireland's artists on the rise. In the past two years, he has exhibited and sold work in major cities all over the world. Duda is currently in New York City where he is completing a commission by Larry Silverstein and The World Trade Gallery on the 69th floor of 4 World Trade Center.
