We wish to appoint a Professional Regulatory Senior Associate to join our highly regarded Public, Regulatory and Investigations team.

Mason Hayes & Curran LLP is a leading Irish law firm based in Dublin with offices in San Francisco, New York and London. We are a business law firm with extensive knowledge and experience in the following sectors: Energy, Technology, Financial Services, Built Environment and Healthcare & Life Sciences.

We are seeking an ambitious solicitor (4+ years PQE) with strong general experience in litigation. Previous experience in professional regulatory or healthcare law is an advantage but not essential. This is a special opportunity for the right candidate to further their career in our Tier 1 ranked Public, Regulatory and Investigations team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and preparing complaints for oral hearing before fitness to practise committees. This includes taking witness statements, briefing experts, briefing counsel and attending oral hearings
  • Drafting legal documents, to include notices of inquiry, special summonses, terms of undertakings, affidavits of service etc
  • Case management of disciplinary hearings, and High Court confirmation applications
  • Providing regulatory advice, protecting the interests of the regulators represented
  • Mentoring and providing guidance to junior team members
  • Ensuring a quality and timely service is delivered to our clients
