As Summer '09 is upon us, there is time to reflect on the first 6 months of 2009 and plan for the remainder of the year. This is an opportune time to review recent developments and the progress of the Cape Town Convention, remind ourselves as to why Ireland is among the premier aviation jurisdictions and in recognising the hardening financial conditions, to be proactive in planning to remove obstacles to the recovery and repossession of aircraft and helicopters.
