Arbitration+ADR
The forum chosen and procedures adopted to resolve a dispute often have a major bearing on its outcome.
Issues such as confidentiality, forum expertise, costs, speed and enforcement abroad can be of varying degrees of importance for a client, depending on the circumstances of any dispute in question.
Sometimes court proceedings will not be the most appropriate vehicle to ensure a satisfactory result. In light of this our litigators will actively explore with clients the possibility of using suitable ADR vehicles to advance their causes.
This approach ranges far beyond standard arbitrations and selecting the applicable rules and provisions with care. Our approach also includes suggesting a series of measures that build from a simple arbitration up into mediations or other forms of ADR.
Partner Emer Gilvarry is a trained and accredited mediator. Partner Rory Kirrane is an arbitration specialist.
