Dispute Resolution
Insolvency and Restructuring
Our Insolvency and Restructuring Practice is one of the largest and most highly rated in Ireland. We have acted for stakeholders in most major insolvencies in Ireland over the last 10 years.
Our main clients are Irish banks and foreign banks active in Ireland. We also act for insolvency officeholders, both domestic and international, and routinely assist in the sale or purchase of distressed assets either in a restructuring or through formal processes.
We have deep experience in advising clients on examinership, Ireland's domestic corporate rescue regime and routinely advise liquidators and receivers of all types.
The practice extends to advising bondholders and other debt providers as well as general creditors and shareholders in distressed situations.
Our team also commonly advises directors regarding managing insolvency risk, reducing the risk of personal liability and regarding investigations by the Director of Corporate Enforcement.
We have extensive experience in litigating both domestic and international insolvency related disputes.
