Financial Services
The Financial Services industry has seen tremendous growth in Ireland over the last decade. From the growth and development of the International Financial Services Centre ("IFSC"), to the success of the Irish retail banks themselves, the financial services industry has been a significant contributor to the recent success of the Irish economy.
As well as creating thousands of new jobs for the Irish economy, this growth has created increased competition, the development of more specialised and innovative products and higher standards of customer care across the industry.
As a result of this, our own Financial Services team has grown from strength to strength and is regularly involved in complex financial transactions on behalf of all the major banks. If you are involved in any form of financial transaction, whether from a lender or borrower’s perspective or if you are involved in any activity which may be subject to financial services regulation, you should contact the Financial Services team below.
You will find a team with the ability to serve your needs and with experience in all types of financial transactions. This includes both the regulatory aspects of the financial services industry as well as the transactional side. Building upon Mason Hayes+Curran’s international strength the Financial Services team are well placed to serve the needs of both international and multinational enterprises operating in Ireland.

Legal 500, Banking and Finance 2008
Mason Hayes+Curran is winning a reputation for 'competing with the big boys and giving them a run for their money'. Clients single out department head Kevin Hoy as 'superb'. The firm packs a powerful punch and is catching up to the top tier with quality instructions such as advising Largo Foods on its acquisition of Tayto and representing Treasury Holdings on the mammoth Spencer Dock financing.
Legal 500, Project Finance and PPP 2008
The projects team at Mason Hayes+Curran is principally active in the renewables sector and acts for lenders and sponsors.
