Health+Safety
As an employer you are probably aware of the need for a responsible approach to health+safety issues. Indeed, the new Safety, Health and Welfare Act 2005 has brought about important new provisions to prevent and reduce the level of workplace injuries that occur throughout Ireland.
The maximum fine for breaches of the new law will now be €3 million, plus imprisonment of up to 2 years. It is therefore important that as an employer you have adequate policies and procedures in place to ensure that your employees are protected from workplace accidents.
We can advise you on how to approach the new legislation and how to implement new policies and procedures that will ensure your employees work within a safe environment and you as an employer meet your health+safety obligations under the new law.
To find out how you can ensure that your company can meet the new health+safety obligations please contact one of the team members shown below.
