Des Murray
Corporate Services
Des is Director of Finance at Mason Hayes & Curran. Des is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and a member of the Institute of Legal Accountants of Ireland. He has extensive and wide experience having trained and qualified with John Woods Chartered Accountants, a mid-tier Dublin firm now merged with Grant Thornton. Des then spent four years in Audit with Price Waterhouse before moving into industry with Tesco Ireland as Financial Reporting Manager. Prior to joining Mason Hayes & Curran Des was with another leading law firm, where he spent over five years in the finance department.
From a finance perspective he has headed up projects such as the implementation of a new Practice Management System, the euro changeover, selection and implementation of a new payroll system, and the restructuring and review of the finance function.
