Peggy leads the Pensions Team within the Employment Law and Benefits Department. Peggy has over 10 years’ experience in the pensions law sector having worked as an in-house lawyer with a multinational insurer for over four years and, prior to joining Mason Hayes & Curran, Peggy worked within the specialist pensions group of another large corporate law firm.
Peggy has advised sponsoring employers (both Irish and multinational), trustees of pension schemes and individuals on a wide range of pensions related issues including their obligations, duties and rights under relevant law and pension scheme documentation. Peggy has also advised on pensions law as applicable to insurance companies in relation to their pension products and related documentation.
Peggy has spoken on various aspects of pension practice and has conducted tutorials at the Law Society of Ireland on the pensions issues within Family Law.
