Judith Riordan is a partner practicing in corporate and personal insolvency law and related litigation.

Her practice focuses on acting for secured creditors, usually financial institutions, and unsecured creditors of companies in financial distress. She routinely represents insolvency office-holders appointed to such companies in distressed situations.

Judith also advises companies and their officers in relation to solvency issues and acts regularly for a variety of stakeholders in formal insolvency processes including examinerships, compulsory and voluntary liquidations, receiverships and bankruptcy.

Judith also has wide experience of insolvency related litigation, acting for both insolvency office-holders and secured and unsecured creditors in disputes including those involving high value recoveries and priority of claims. She also advises regarding restriction and disqualification proceedings for and against directors of insolvent companies and in various enforcement actions including claims concerning alleged fraudulent dispositions. She has also acted for secured lenders in defending Commercial Court proceedings.

Judith is admitted as an attorney in New York, as well as a solicitor in Ireland.
