Edward is a Partner in the Litigation Department. He focuses on advising entities in the not for profit sector including hospitals, registered charities and religious institutions. He favours and promotes Alternative Dispute Resolution options, and is a CEDR accredited mediator.

Edward has deep familiarity with issues facing the not for profit sector. Much of his practice involves providing strategic advice on dispute avoidance and risk minimisation. He constantly applies his knowledge and experience regarding his clients' corporate structures, governance issues, constitutional statutes and statutory duties. He is a leading practitioner in the proceedings of public inquiries, the proper investigation of complaints and the drafting of sumissions to government regarding matters of controversy.

• Drafting submissions to Departments of Justice concerning proposal to establish State inquiries.
• Advising not for profits on drafting and structuring of complaints procedures in the interest of fair procedures.
• Serving on the Ethics Commitee of Dublin Mater Misercordiae Hospital.
