Jérôme Dupuy, European Lawyer
Jérôme is an associate in the firm's Commercial Department.
He specialises in company and commercial law advising in particular on inward investment projects.
As an active member of international associations, Jerome advises foreign companies on all aspects of doing business in Ireland.
His training and background in both common-law and civil jurisdictions have made him attentive and sensitive to culturally different approaches to business situations.
Jérôme has developed a focused international advisory practice and advises on a full range of issues governing all aspects of inward investment work:
- Tax planning and advice on corporate structure
- Company incorporation
- Establishment of operations in and from Ireland
- Advise on commercial contracts, terms and conditions of trade
- Advise on protection and licensing of intellectual property
- Corporate governance
He also extensively advices clients and counsels, either from a civil law or common law perspective, on the following cross-border matters:
- Advising on real estate matters (review of leases or purchase agreements, litigation, acquisition processes and liaising with the oversea Notaries)
- Acquisition either through a tender offer, a purchase of shares or the direct acquisition of assets.
- Advising creditors and suppliers to companies in relation to debt recovery matters.
- Advising on the restoration of companies to the Companies Register where substantial assets had been frozen in other jurisdictions.
- Order of sale and enforcement of foreign judgements.
