Donagh McGowan, Partner

Donagh is a partner in Mason Hayes+Curran and is head of MH+C Private. Donagh leads the private client division which offers clients a complete range of private law services for the individual requirements of Ireland's successful business owners, senior executives and leading professionals. Donagh is highly regarded by clients for his trusted advice and discretion.

Prior to being appointed Head of Private Clients, Donagh specialised on all aspects of family law with a focus on judicial separation and divorce. He has significant experience of both contentious and non-contentious matters. He advises on separation and pre-nuptial agreements and consensual access arrangements. On the contentious side, he has represented parties to strongly contested cases involving judicial separation, divorce, child custody and child abduction.

In line with the sensitive nature of the work undertaken by MH+C Private and the nature of the client base of Mason Hayes+Curran, Donagh has developed innovative and market-leading systems within the unit which are designed to protect the confidentiality and security of client information both internally and externally.

Donagh is a member of the Family Lawyers Association of Ireland and of the Family Law Commitee of the Law Society of Ireland. He is a trained professional in Collaborative Law and a member and of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals. Donagh is also a regular mediacommentator on family law and private client issues.
