Kevin Hoy, Partner
Kevin is the Head of the Financial Services Department dealing with banking and financial services law. He practices in acquisition finance, project finance, asset finance, tax based financing and property finance. Kevin is a member of Mason Hayes+Curran's Projects group and has a niche practice in the area of utility financing and energy law. For many years, Kevin was the internal examiner in contract law for the Law Society entrance examination and was a consultant in commercial lending to the Law Society trainee solicitors. He is the examiner in contract for the Law Society Qualified Lawyer Transfer Test and he is the author of the Commercial Lending chapter in ‘Business Law’ (OUP 2009).
Kevin leads the firm's Charity Law working group and he coordinates MH+C's CSR activities. In a voluntary capacity he has management roles in a number of organisations in the not for profit/ community sector.
