Austrade Reception

On 4 October 2005, Mason Hayes & Curran hosted a reception for the first ever trade mission from Canberra to Ireland.

The trade mission was organised by the Dublin office of the Australian Trade Commission ('Austrade'). Austrade's role is to identify and pursue business opportunities in Ireland for Australian companies.

AustradeThe Australian companies in the trade mission comprised a variety of businesses including electronic and software engineering companies, companies with sports science and security products,film and television products and other technology.

Declan Moylan, Managing Partner of Mason Hayes & Curran, welcomed the trade mission members to the office. Speeches followed from the Australian Ambassador to Ireland, Dr John Herron  and the leader of the trade mission, Mr. Ted Quinlan, Deputy Chief Minister and  Minister for Economic Development of the Australian Capital Territory.
