On 9 February, Mason Hayes & Curran hosted the tenth event in a series of seminars aimed at senior-ranking civil and public servants. The seminar focused on the current status of anti-bribery and corruption legislation here in Ireland in the wake of recent high-profile governance failures and corruption scandals. The increased public and media scrutiny in this area has highlighted the need for the Irish public sector to ensure compliance with anti-bribery and corruption laws within their own organisations as well as in their dealings with the private sector.
The event also saw the launch of Mason Hayes & Curran's Ethics in the Public & Private Sectors: The Legislation. For further information on the event, please contact events@mhc.ie
