Briefing on Corporate Best Practice & Effective Communications at Board Meetings

The Institute of Directors hosted an event on Thursday, April 28th, on the role and importance of board meetings in the Irish regulatory environment.Paula Phelan, Mason Hayes & Curran and communications consultant, Paula Mullin, delivered the breakfast briefing.

  • Practical advice on effective communication at board meetings
  • Dealing with difficult issues and getting the most from any board meeting

The event was be chaired by Gerard Ryan, Partner in the Corporate Department of Mason Hayes & Curran. Gerard regularly advises companies, statutory bodies and directors in relation to corporate governance issues, matters of company law and the duties and obligations of directors.  He is a regular lecturer to professional bodies and a media contributor in relation to matters of corporate governance.
