Fulbright at Mason Hayes & Curran is a program of exhibitions, talks and catalogues that showcases the creations and conversations of US Fulbrighters Ms. Mary Bayard White and Ms. Erin Treacy during their recent time in Ireland.
The primary function of the Ireland - United States (Fulbright) Commission for Educational Exchange is to administer the Fulbright Program to provide scholarships to Irish citizens to lecture, research or study in the United States and for the US citizens to lecture, research or study in Ireland.
MH & C are delighted to support the work of the Fulbright Commission in Ireland in hosting this exhibition and series of talks over the coming months. Mason Hayes & Curran's Chairman, Declan Moylan commented at the opening night "We welcome the opportunity to collaborate with The Fulbright Commission in hosting this exhibition at our offices. We are delighted to nurture the talent of young and emerging artists." This collaboration is aligned with MH & C's deep and longstanding links with the United States. Every year MH & C becomes the law firm of choice for major American companies commencing business in Ireland.
MH & C has one of the best known and curated contemporary art collections among Irish professional service firms. Even in harder economic times MH & C has a significant annual acquisitions budget and is happy to identify and invest in challenging as well as more conventional art pieces. The firm's collection is a real distinguishing feature of its office environment, and is enjoyed by its staff, clients and visitors in equal measure.
