Real Estate Golf Day 2009
On the afternoon of Monday 27th April, Mason Hayes & Curran’s Real Estate Department hosted their 2009 Golf Outing – their first at the new location of Dun Laoighaire Golf Club.
This was the largest outing to date with 15 teams, each captained by an MH & C representative. First tee off was at 1.15pm and play was on the on the upper and middle courses.
Despite forecasts, the weather started off bright and promising, with most enjoying the first 9 in dry conditions, however we couldn’t keep the rain at bay towards the latter half of the day throwing wet conditions into the mix. Luckily play cleared up again towards the end.
This was the first time many guests on the outing had played at the club’s new home, and feedback praised the courses and club house which holds impressive facilities and wonderful views.
Players were later joined by other members of the real estate department for an ‘indoor BBQ’ and prize giving by Declan Curran- Head of the Real Estate Department.

Congratulations to team 15 (pictured above) captained by Mason Hayes & Curran’s Tom Davy with fellow team mates Conor Whelan, Dave Moreau and Aaseem Mulji, who despite coming directly from the course to the ceremony as they were last in after 8pm, still managed to take home the honours.
Longest drive went to Dave McInerney and closest to the pin to T.J Kearns.
