Kosovo Chamber of Advocates (KCA) visit MH & C
Mason Hayes & Curran were delighted to welcome the Kosovo Chamber of Advocates (KCA) to our offices on Wednesday December, 17th. The Delegation visited Ireland on a fact finding mission in relation to professional legal education in Ireland.
The KCA is the professional body for advocates in Kosovo, similar in function to the Law Society. The visit was organised as part of the fledgling Rule of Law project co-sponsored by the Law Society and the Bar Council.
The KCA delegation were very interested in see how a leading Irish law firm such as MH & C looked and operated. This was particularly interesting to the delegation as 99% of lawyers in Kosovo operate as sole practitioners.
Declan Moylan our Chairman at MH & C, provided an insightful introduction and explanation of the functions of a full service business law firm to our guests. The Delegation will continue their visit to Ireland by attending the Irish Law Society this coming Friday.
