Billy Dixon, Presenting Yourself!
Mr Billy Dixon, (Mind Associates) provided an insightful speech on 'pitching for business'. Billy is a recognised expert on non-verbal communication skills and is also renowned for his coaching of both Irish and British politicians and television presenters.
A number of PM Forum members from legal, architecture and accountancy backgrounds attended this inspiring session and enjoyed many humorous 'anecdotes' experienced by Billy. The presentation concentrated on the communication aspects of pitching and tendering for work, reinforcing the growing importance of non-verbal aspects of communication used in business on a daily basis.
Attendees left with a new sense of understanding and self awareness, armed with useful techniques for success in business and methods of improving image and body language.
The evening concluded with an enjoyable questions & answers session and was followed by light refreshments.
