Ireland China Association

Mason Hayes & Curran were delighted to welcome the Ireland China Association (ICA) in hosting this event focusing on 'Outsourcing to China: Intellectual Property Protection'.

This is part of a programme of networking events, in the form of Business Breakfasts, Business Lunches, Seminars, and Evening Briefings at which topics of interest to the membership are presented.

Mel Clifford, Shelly Xiong and Tony BurkeThe session was lead by Shelly Xiong of Haoilwen PRC Attorneys who discussed the opportunities and risks associated with exporting to China since becoming a full member of the World Trade Organisation. Many attendees from legal and varied backgrounds were enlightened by this informative session.

The evening concluded with a thorough questions and answers session in which attendees shared their experience and knowledge of the Chinese market. This was followed by light refreshments and discussion.
