Mason Hayes & Curran sponsors the Hist Maidens Speakers Competition 2012

We were delighted to sponsor the Hist Maidens Speakers Competition 2012 again this year.
Each year, Trinity College Dublin's Historical Society hosts the Maidens Debates, a competition open to all Trinity students who have not debated at university level before.
The competition starts with non-competitive rounds to ease students into debating, then steadily picks up pace to finish with a gala final.
This year, the Maidens semi-finals took place on 26 and 28 November 2012. The gala final took place on 12 December. Paul Egan, Chairman of Corporate at Mason Hayes & Curran, was chief adjudicator for the final.
After a short speech, Paul announced the runners-up and the winner, who were presented with their prizes and trophy respectively. We would like to congratulate Ludovine Rebet, winner of the Maidens Debates 2012, and all of those who participated.
