Who is seminar aimed at?
A focused, half-day seminar for senior public servants examining some recent positive initiatives that have produced effective change
Why this seminar?
In the wake of the McCarthy report, the public sector has never been under more pressure, attention or scrutiny. As we patiently await the December Budget, the threat of severe pay cuts looms against a backdrop of threatened strikes and other disruptive measures, yet 'the show goes on', and services are being delivered.
Against this changed reality, however, there are certain positives in the public sector, as dedicated public servants do their best to serve the public and deliver an excellent service in a resourceful and innovative way. The adjustment by organisations, their leaders and their staff to the new regime is now live.
As a response to the current adjustments, and as a continuation of our invitation seminars to senior public servants, we have assembled a series of speakers with public sector success stories, who will demonstrate an ability to keep going in the midst of adversity. We hope that this seminar will contribute positively to the important changes that must be made to survive now, and into the future. This seminar is part of the “Meet to Motivate” series at MH & C.
