Three new partners

23 October - Leading business law firm, Mason Hayes & Curran, today announced the appointment of three new partners in its corporate, real estate and employment law & benefits practices.

The appointment of Gerard Ryan, John Minihane and Ronnie Neville as partners reflects the continued development of the firm which has been achieved by aligning Mason Hayes & Curran to growth areas of the Irish economy and follows on from the appointment of six new partners earlier in the year.

Founded in 1968, Mason Hayes & Curran is a full service business law firm, employing 220 people in its Dublin, London and New York offices.

Additional information about the new partners:

• Gerard Ryan is a partner in the corporate department. He has significant experience in all aspects of corporate law with particular emphasis on acquisitions and disposals, venture capital investments (for investors and companies), joint ventures and shareholder agreements. He has acted for a number of significant family owned companies in relation to their corporate restructurings and disposals.
  
  
• John Minihane is a partner in the real estate department. He has extensive experience in the commercial real estate market acting for developers, state bodies, pension funds, banks, investment syndicates, occupiers and private individuals. John is also a chartered surveyor. Prior to qualifying as a lawyer, John acquired specialist experience in over ten years working at a senior level in Ireland’s property investment industry.
  
  
• Ronnie Neville is a partner practising in employment law. He advises in both contentious and non-contentious employment law related matters with a particular focus on equality related issues. Ronnie has significant experience in employment related civil actions and employer liability claims. Ronnie also provides non-contentious advice to clients in drafting employment contracts, agreements and workplace policies and procedures. Furthermore, he provides legal support to HR managers in relation to all aspects of employment law and its practical application to issues arising in the workplace.
