Fionan Breathnach Joins as Partner

NEW YORK and DUBLIN, October 1, 2003 -- As the hedge fund industry expands globally, Mason Hayes & Curran has established an investment funds practice and welcomes Mr. Fionan Breathnach to head the group.

Based in Dublin, Ireland, Mason Hayes & Curran is a leading corporate law firm that is represented in New York City. The firm specializes in cross-border transactions.

He is a regular contributor to financial journals and has been closely involved in reviewing and commenting on new policy and regulation in the area of investment funds. In particular, he has been involved in the development of the hedge funds industry in Ireland and has advised fund promoters and service providers on Ireland's evolving regulation in this area.

Mr. Breathnach's experience also includes advising international and domestic institutions on insurance and investment intermediaries regulations, anti-money laundering and brokerage, prime brokerage and derivative transactions.
