The firm’s expansion has based its alignment with particular growth areas of the economy including construction, financial services and life sciences and now provides a full-service offering to clients.  Mason Hayes & Curran’s strategy is also distinctly different from the traditional approach of law firms, taking a more entrepreneurial approach to its clients’ business and legal requirements. This has also manifested itself in the move to South Bank, as the entire office is open plan, with partners relinquishing their offices to allow for extra space and facilities for staff.

Commenting at the opening, Minister for Finance Mr. Brian Cowen TD said: “Mason Hayes & Curran has grown rapidly in the last five years by capitalising on the growth areas of the Irish economy. This progress has also been achieved by not only providing a legal service, but by also recognising and understanding the business needs of its clients.  This entrepreneurial approach is very much aligned to our strategy in Government which is to support innovators and create the right economic and policy environment for business to succeed. Mason Hayes & Curran should be commended for its vision which has resulted in it becoming one of the foremost legal firms providing counsel to Ireland’s leading domestic businesses and multinationals operating in Ireland”.

Mr. Declan Moylan, Managing Partner of Mason Hayes & Curran, said: “Today is a milestone in the development of our firm and our focus will remain on ensuring that we understand our clients’ business and that we provide them with legal counsel that recognises the challenges that they face.  While we have made considerable strides in recent years, the appointments that we have announced today, the investment in creating a full-service offering and the strength of the economy ensures that we are prepared for further growth”.
