Entrepreneurial Stories from the Wild, Wild West

As part of the Mason Hayes & Curran series of talks, Dan O'Neill of Arizona State University (ASU) will give a talk at DCU's Ryan Academy on Tuesday 11 July 2006 at 6.30pm.
The title of the talk is "Growing ventures in the global market: entrepreneurial stories from the Wild, Wild West".
Dan O'Neill is entrepreneurial coach at Arizona State University and is also CEO of DJT Enterprises, which provides strategy and business development guidance to early stage ventures.
According to Dan, "High play an increasingly important role as a source of economic growth and wealth creation. This trend recognises the growing importance of high-potential start-ups as the source of prosperity and global competitiveness".
Commenting on the masterclass, Mason Hayes & Curran Managing Partner, Declan Moylan said, “This masterclass by Professor O’Neill concludes the very successful series of masterclasses sponsored by Mason Hayes & Curran at DCU’s Ryan Academy of Entrepreneurship. The series attracted large audiences from Ireland’s business and entrepreneurial communities and Mason Hayes & Curran was proud to have provided the necessary financial support for this innovative education project”.
In his role at Arizona State University, he takes a unique approach to coaching entrepreneurs that focuses on Entrepreneurship as Storytelling. In his talk next Tuesday, he will demonstrate the storytelling approach through a selection of exercises while describing the experiences of high-potential start-ups from Arizona and around the globe.
