DCU Ryan Academy for Entrepreneurship welcomes Harvard Professor Dr. Thomas Esselman to Ireland
US business expert Dr. Thomas Esselman will conduct the second Mason Hayes & Curran sponsored masterclass in business innovation at DCU’s Ryan Academy on Thursday 30 March. According to Dr. Esselman, Founder and former President of Altran Technologies and Harvard Lecturer, the key to business entrepreneurship and ensuing success is through innovation in science and engineering.
The Visiting Professor Series brings top international business experts to Ireland to deliver masterclasses on a range of topical and relevant global issues affecting entrepreneurship. Dr. Esselman is also a Lecturer at Harvard University in the Division of Engineering and Applied Science where he developed and teaches a course entitled “Innovation in Engineering and Science”. The course provides a basis for students to learn about the process of innovation and to explore their ability to innovate.
Altran Technologies is a consulting firm headquartered in Paris. Dr. Esselman is responsible for leveraging technology to extend market penetration, to provide technological awareness and visibility and to develop and maintain relationships with universities.
